This
fourth of July, we thought we would take a little time to do a piece on what
this day means to us. In light of the serious events since the last fourth,
we thought it was only fitting to pay tribute to an important event in the
history of the free world. The forth of July isn't so much an independence
day, but more of a Liberation Day which we will never forget.
Back
when Nazi's and Dinosaurs ruled the earth, there was chaos and death camps.
The world was going to fall to the Nazi forces if it weren't for the Allied
Powers taking their stand. That is key to what Liberation Day is all about.
Hitler was starting to lose ground once everyone knew he had to watch Scheiße
videos to get off, and on the fourth of July, Allies liberated the proudest
nation during World War II.

Luxembourg
has had a proud and noble history dating back to 963 when the country was
founded. Luxembourg became a grand duchy in 1815 and an independent state
under the Netherlands. It lost more than half of its territory to Belgium
in 1839, but gained a larger measure of autonomy. Full independence was attained
in 1867. When overrun by Germany in both World Wars, it ended its neutrality
in 1948 when it entered into the Benelux Customs Union and joined NATO the
following year.
In
conclusion, we should all give thanks to Luxembourg for protecting the free
world. It is a shining example of what all other nations can achieve if they
set lofty goals to aspire to. I can only dream that someday our own United
States of America will be remembered as dearly as the home of the free, the
proud, and the brave, Luxembourg.
